Props: Random objects, blindfolds, cones for boundaries
Suggested Group Size: 10 - 14
Activity: Objects are scattered in an indoor or outdoor place. In pairs, one person verbally guides his/her partner, a blindfolded person, through the “minefield.” Have partners switch blindfolds once they have successfully led through the maze, as a facilitator make sure to redesign maze while other partner is blindfolded. If they step on an object, facilitator must guide them back to beginning where their partner is located to start over.
Increased challenge: Have participants come up with own language other than English or Pig-Latin to guide their partner successfully across minefield.
Potential Processing Outcomes: Focus on partner communication, trust
