Human Maze

Type: Group development

Approximate time: 30 minutes

Activity:

• One person is blindfolded and leaves the area accompanied by someone who can see

• Remaining group members form themselves into a maze using only their bodies.  They may create any obstacle they would like (tunnel, fence, sharp turn, etc.)

• The blindfolded person then returns with the guide who verbally speaks the blindfolded person through the maze

Risk management: Make sure the guide is very specific about the obstacles in front of the blindfolded participant.
